Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Act as a witness at customer locations where DEA-controlled substances are involved.
- Ride along with a CDL Driver to assist with duties at their stops.
- Video the destruction process of DEA-controlled substances and upload the video into the employer system.
- Requires up to 75% overnight travel based on routes.
- Load containers and supplies to trucks for daily service stops.
- May assist in maintaining inventory and storage of hazardous materials in accordance with appropriate regulations and policies, practices, and procedures.
- Follow all Health & Safety/Job Safety Analysis (JSA's) procedures as outlined in procedures and policies.
- Complete paperwork legibly, accurately, and in a timely manner.
- Performs related work and additional duties as requested or assigned by supervisor/manager.
- Regular contact with external customers and different levels of personnel on a daily basis.
- Candidate must meet all requirements for handling DEA-regulated waste.
- Drive non-DOT-regulated vehicles to customer sites to witness regulated waste collection as needed.
- 3 overnights a week.
Basic Required Qualifications:
- At least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Clean driving record.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to follow procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
- One or more years of related experience.
- Knowledge of OSHA Regulations.
- Proficiency with Windows-based programs (i.e. Excel and Word).
- Ability to operate a powered industrial truck, e.g., forklift.
