What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facility Technician I / Material Handler position at Clean Harbors?
The Opportunity:
As a Facility Technician you would be responsible for performing hands-on operations within the Company's industrial warehouse loading and unloading 55-gallon drums, offloading vans and trucks, as well as completing paperwork for waste tracking/inventory purposes. We are looking for safety-oriented and reliable individual who do not mind physically demanding work to join our team in Reidsville, NC!
Hours: 3rd / Night Shift - 9:00pm to 7:30am - Sunday to Thursday

Key Responsibilities:
Ensure Health & Safety is the number one goal by following all policies, procedures, and acting in a safe manner at all times
Performs hands-on operations such as repacking of drums, pumping of liquids, and other tank farm and warehouse operations as needed
Maintain proper housekeeping and up to date knowledge of all applicable SOP's
Utilize industrial equipment to transport 55-Gallon drums throughout the facility for shipment and/or processing
Operate a forklift as needed
Other duties as assigned
What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?
HS Diploma or equivalent
Forklift operating experience
Computer proficiency preferred
Previous experience within a plant environment preferred
