Clean Harbors in Albuquerque, NM has an opening for an Environmental HAZMAT Field Service Foreman is responsible for the supervision of Field Technicians, safety performance and the performance of tasks associated with EMERGENCY RESPONSE hazardous waste clean-up, site-remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, and processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
- Allocate manpower, organize crews and delegate job responsibilities.
- Allocate and verify that the appropriate equipment is available and on-site to complete the project/job.
- Manage safety performance and reporting.
- Train and mentor Field Technicians and drivers
- Reports all work-related accidents/incidents to their supervisor.
- Working Foreman – will assist with emergency on-call work.
- Monday – Friday, day shift.
- Start time varies based on customer needs.
- Must be able to work additional hours (evenings, weekends & holidays) as needed.
- There will always be after-hours emergency responses such as bio spills, chemical spills, fuel spills, etc.
- Must be fitted for a respirator.
- Will work alongside field laborers; this role can be physically demanding.
- Will be at project sites enforcing safety, running the project and conducting manual labor duties, etc.
- Will work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Because this is an emergency response and due to the operational nature of the position, it will require some on-call availability. This could also include weekends and holidays.
- Any other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of environmental field operations experience.
- Supervisory or Management experience.
- Ability to travel overnight.
- Heavy equipment operation and knowledge preferred.
- CDL A or B a plus but not required.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
