Overview
Clean Harbors in North Kingstown, RI is looking for Hazardous Waste Material Handler to join the team. Known internally as the InSite Technician you will be responsible for the collection, identification, and proper packaging and/or lab packing of hazardous us and non-hazardous waste at this specific location as well as spill response activities on site. This position offers company training to acquire a CDL Class B Driver’s License.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner
- Responsible for collecting, identifying, and packaging Hazardous waste produced within customer facility
- Prepare waste drums for pick-up and delivery
- Answer phone calls and manage customer request
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and grounds
- Completes and submits all associated paperwork as required for waste tracking movements
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Valid DL & clean driving record
- Ability to obtain/retain Class B CDL with Endorsements upon hire
- Experience with handling hazardous materials is a plus but not required
- Strong customer service skills
- Local travel as business demands require.
- College degree in chemistry, biology or other natural science preferred but not required
