Reporting to Branch Operations, the Logistics Analyst will play a crucial role in our logistics and routing teams. Your primary responsibilities will include analyzing transportation data, optimizing routes, and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance efficiencies and reduce costs.

- Analyze transportation data to identify trends and recommend solutions for improved efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with branch and district management to streamline routes and assess service territories for potential route expansions.
- Develop models and simulations to optimize transportation routes and schedules.
- Conduct cost analysis studies to identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities.
- Create reports and presentations to communicate transportation analysis findings.
- Support and create KPIs for the business using Excel, SQL, and other platforms.
- Develop scorecards, dashboards, and exception reports to pinpoint service and cost opportunities.
- Develop and maintain the logistics solutions library.
- Provide delivery strategies to cross-functional departments to assist in special needs as requested.
- Assist in coordinating projects and transportation initiatives.
- Create written standard operating procedures with visualized flow charts.
- Support exploring different transportation IT platforms.
- Additional duties as assigned by manager.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or Applied Mathematics, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong analytical background with expertise in Excel, SQL and PowerBI.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected as part of the job performance.
- Understanding and experience in project management and exposure to project management methodologies.
- Flexibility and adaptability in learning and understanding new technologies, programs, and processes.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Highly self-motivated and directed.
- Ability to problem solve and perform root cause analysis
- 3 years of experience in Transportation, Operations, and/or Supply Chain or similar experience.
- Retail / Service experience is a plus.
- A bachelor’s degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Occasional Travel will be required for this position. Less than 10% of the time.
