The Construction Project Manager will organize, manage, and plan projects for the organization’s restoration construction department. This position reports to the Construction Manager.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Oversees a team of carpenters and skilled laborers to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.
Delegates work and assignments to team members based on expertise, work experience, and time constraints.
Communicates with clients and vendors professionally and in a timely manner.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Simultaneously oversee multiple residential, commercial, industrial and institutional projects
Manage high risk, high exposure, and/or complex projects
Communicate professionally with customers, subcontractors and insurance companies
Provide technical explanations to clients, adjusters, consultants and others
Attend sponsored operations and safety training courses
Coordinate job starts and schedule appointments with customers and clients
Coordinate work duties with subcontractors and field personnel
Provide constructive feedback and direction to complete tasks on time and within budget
Provide technical explanations to clients, adjusters, consultants and others
Secure applicable municipal permits
Meet with municipal inspectors as required
Coordinate after-hours emergency services as directed, including board-ups, water damage, fire and smoke damage, and vandalism
Assure compliance with DOT requirements
Stay up to date with accident and injury policy and incident reporting procedures
Implement site-specific safety plans

Qualifications and Requirements
Possess sense of urgency, professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
Sales experience in restoration, construction or related fields, including upgrades/changes to existing contracts
Minimum 5 years’ superintendent experience with restoration, cleaning, and/or applicable construction industries on commercial, industrial, and/or institutional projects
Satisfactory completion of OSHA Construction 30 hour course
Valid EPA Lead RRP Certified Renovator license
Experience with site-specific safety plans
Knowledgeable of DOT requirements
Frequent lifting in excess of 50 lbs.
Sustained periods of standing, walking, bending, and kneeling
Access and mobility in tight spaces
Eligible to operate a motor vehicle per CRs vehicle policy
Experienced operating vehicles up to 26,000 GVW and operating truck-trailer combinations
Proficient with Microsoft Office programs of Outlook, Excel, and Word
Willing to work nights and weekends when requested – On-call rotation
Periodic travel
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in related field, or 7 years industry experience preferred.
Salary
$60,000-$80,000 DOE
