Job Summary:
The Revenue Management Analyst will be responsible for producing and analyzing all relevant RM reporting for both future impact and historical analysis. Recommends and maintains pricing, positioning, and management of inventory. Oversees the processes associated with maximizing revenue from existing demand, forecasting and opportunity analysis (to include seasonality, competitive, positioning and displacement). Responsible for the development of metrics, generation and review of reports, pricing, and implementation of strategies across channels to maximize revenue and profitability.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide analytical support regarding pricing and inventory management to Manager and Directors of Revenue Management
- Identify issues and develop data-driven solutions
- Maintaining RM system, dashboards, and processes to ensure uninterrupted reporting
- Assist with the development of processes to streamline and optimize sales and pricing workflows
- Provide strategic assessment of potential areas for revenue growth
- Build tools and reports to identify pricing opportunities, industry trends, forecast inventory utilization to maximize revenue
- Provide support to various ad-hoc requests and special projects
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Advanced problem solving and analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative
- Ability to recognize patterns on their own after analyzing a complex data and present findings to leaders in clear, concise, manner
- Write advanced SQL queries or Alteryx to extract, cleanse, transform, load and visualize data as required
- Demonstrated advanced ability and strong foundation in statistical systems (R Programming and Alteryx)
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees/customers and align and integrate with other departments and sites within the company
- Ability and flexibility to work under pressure and concurrently on multiple projects and deal with ambiguity
- Proactively questions current practices; ability to identify root cause and corrective actions and drive improvements
- Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills
- Strong time management, organization and prioritization skills with comfort in being self-directed
EDUCATION, COMPUTER AND SYSTEM PROFICIENCY
- Advanced Excel and Database skills, with experience in building complex models and working with large data sets in Excel /Alteryx
- Expertise with SQL required with ability to create complex Stored Procedures, Triggers, Functions, Indexes, Tables, Views, Joins and other SQL code to implement business rules
- Direct experience working in Alteryx for more than 2 years
- Experience in Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization / business intelligence platforms
- Hands-on experience in R-Programming, Alteryx with data analytics and statistical modeling concepts such as multi-variate regression, segmentation modeling, forecasting, machine learning, and data mining
- Possess knowledge of revenue management metrics
- Bachelor's degree in related field required
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of directly related experience
LOCATION & TRAVEL
- The role will be based at the Clear Channel Outdoor Corporate office in Phoenix, Arizona
- Ability and expectation for overnight travel of 10%
