JOB SUMMARY: CRC has a need for a Maritime Imagery Analyst in Suitland, Maryland
DESCRIPTION: The Maritime Imagery Analyst will conduct all-source analytic production by interpreting imagery including, but not limited to, visible, infrared, and radar data as well as full motion video for the identification of foreign conventional and unconventional military installations; civilian infrastructure relevant to military capabilities; weapon systems; orders of battle; military equipment and defenses; battle damage assessments; communications; humanitarian efforts. Candidate shall provide full-time Maritime Imagery Analyst support at the National Maritime Intelligence Center (NMIC). Shift work will be required, and rotating shift work will be necessary.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in other testing of new algorithm outputs and capabilities, to include data labeling in support of maritime GEOINT objects
- Develop and maintain desktop procedures, techniques and methodologies related to ONI, Navy and maritime missions supported via GRIN capabilities
- Assist with training of rotating or new personnel that may augment the overall Maritime Rapid Exploitation Cell (MarREC). This training may include hands-on instruction, analyst-to-analyst exchanges, or working aids
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a security background investigation and polygraph
- An active and current Top Secret SCI clearance is required to be considered for this work
- Two (2) years of practical work experience exploiting National Technical means (NTM) imagery
- One (1) year of experience writing technical products, reports and briefs
- Familiarity with OPIR tasking and requirements tool - GEOINT Information Management System (GIMS)
