What opportunity is available?
Clearview Group is seeking a full-time Talent Acquisition (TA) Specialist. This position reports to the Director of Human Resources and is based out of our headquarters in Owings Mills, Maryland. While regular remote work is permitted, this person will need to be willing and able to be onsite for visits to our office and participation in local events.
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will manage the full recruitment life cycle of entry level to mid level roles and support strategic efforts sourcing efforts for critical positions. What will this new hire do?
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the recruitment and hiring cycle. This position will work in close partnership with the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist and Director to execute specific strategies for talent acquisition initiatives. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will also serve a key role in recruiting top entry-level talent for Clearview by assisting in developing and managing relationships with universities and colleges as well as leading the planning, coordination, and execution of the internship program. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provides support to recruiting and hiring cycle including, but not limited to:
- Drafting and/or editing job ads to ensure uniformity in accordance with branding
- Posting job ads
- Reviewing applications
- Pre-screening and recording detailed notes on conversations
- Scheduling interviews
- Extending offers, processing background checks and ensuring a smooth transition from candidate to new hire
- Maintains Paycor Recruiting (ATS) to ensure candidates are managed appropriately in the system and communication, interview notes, and other relevant activities are documented.
- Strengthens relationships with target universities and colleges by communicating career services and/or faculty, participating in career fairs and other recruiting events on-site and online to enhance the firm’s brand and image on campus.
- Leads internship program planning including, but not limited to:
- Coordinating activities throughout the program that provide interns with opportunities for professional development and networking.
- Monitoring the effectiveness of the program and making modifications to continue to create a meaningful intern experience.
- Supports onboarding efforts such as, requests bio information before new hires first day, sending welcome swag, assisting with coordinating orientation scheduling and so on.
- Assists with other HR tasks and projects as appropriate.
What is required for consideration?
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or other related field
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a recruiting or talent acquisition role
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate strong time management, and detail oriented
- Understanding of general human resources policies, recruitment best practices, and applicable employment laws
- Experience with HRIS, ATS, job boards, sourcing, and other recruitment marketing tools
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work independently as well as a strong team player
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with a can-do attitude
- Willingness and ability to travel to our Owings Mills, MD office, as required
- Willingness and ability to travel to job fairs
What is preferred for consideration?
- Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter
- Proficiency with Paycor Recruiting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Teams
- Experience recruiting for a CPA, consulting, or other professional services firm
