Job Title: Operations Manager

Location:
Parkville, MD

Job Type: 32-hours/week with option to work from home one day after 3-month onboarding.

Compensation: $25-$28/hour; commensurate with experience.

Overview: We are seeking a highly organized, friendly, and efficient Operations Manager who is looking to step up their career and grow with our company. This position serves as the hub of communications and is the perfect fit for someone who loves to be “in the know.”

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills with a background in scheduling, working with installers and subcontractors, proficiency in Google Sheets, experience with customer managment software, and a knack for bringing us all together. This role involves coordinating appointments, managing installation schedules, following up with customers, processing payments and reviews, and working with the best installers in Baltimore. The Operations Manager also will be responsible for calculating pre-audits, generating weekly sales and installation reports to ensure operational efficiency, lead follow up, and customer satisfaction, plus plan and coordinate team meetings, fun office parties, and heartfelt customer appreciation gifts.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages daily installation and service operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
  • Coordinates appointments and schedule installations, optimizing routes and timelines.
  • Utilizes CRM software to maintain customer records, track interactions, and calculate pre-audits.
  • Intakes new customers and follows up on leads to support sales.
  • Contacts customers (via phone, email, or text) for ETAs, schedule nuances, and post-installation to ensure satisfaction, request reviews, and/or address any concerns.
  • Collect payments from customers and maintains accurate contact records.
  • Prepares and distributes weekly lead, sales, and installation reports to communicate progress and keep the team up to date.
  • Supports office digitization of customer documentation and communications.
  • Naturally seeks to learn efficiency and best practices using technology.
  • Schedules and coordinates office meetings, birthday and holiday celebrations.


Requirements:

  • Experience as office, project, or operations manager.
  • Excels with a diversity of responsibilities and is highly organized.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and CRM software; Marketsharp or Salesforce experience is a
  • Knowledge of payment processing (Square) and financial record-keeping procedures.
  • Friendly, fun, and positive attitude with a customer-oriented approach.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to negotiate.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
