Reconciliation Project Manager
Supporting an operational team that spans three countries and time zones, with the potential for more growth requires rigor and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the end-to-end workflow within Clearwater, a skill and desire to extract and analyze various levels of operational data, and proven ability to execute at the highest level. The candidate will have experience developing and using process, account, and employee level performance metrics to identify areas of improvement, opportunity and risk specific to team operations.
The candidate will be focused on reporting, analyzing, and organizing Reconciliation’s global operation plane while cross pollinating best practices across all regions. The person enjoys relationship building, is curious about problems that need solved, analytical and detail-oriented, and seeks to implement programs for the betterment of the entire department. This is an individual contributor role that requires a person to be affable, organized, creative, self-starting and needs to have the ability to work well with, and gain the respect of primarily internal colleagues. It is very important to have the ability to work across the internal landscape to include key reconciliation, operations, and product stakeholders in decision making, issue escalation, program planning and with executive presentations.
Role Responsibilities
General
- Know the operational KPIs from all metric based perspectives; e.g. utilization, service level commitments, product usage, AUM and asset mix, etc.
- Know and understand the clients’ opportunities and challenges and identify how our service professionals can address/support them
- Monitor the satisfaction level of the accounts and report progress to senior leadership
- Leads and Contributes to a coordinated account planning, execution and review process across all regions
- Work closely with division and team leadership to monitor and report upon operational teams and process effectiveness to meet performance goals
Process Optimization
- Diagrams and evaluates existing processes vis-à-vis agreed upon best practices
- Plans, performs and implements process improvement initiatives
- Works tightly with Division and Team leadership to facilitate cross-functional project teams to execute process improvement initiatives
- Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities
- Collects data to identify root cause of problems. Measures performance against process requirements
- May deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement and controls
- Communicates team progress
- Performs cost and benefit analyses
Business Intelligence
- Analyzes complex business problems using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers.
- Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences.
- Constructs forecasts, recommendations and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge.
- Creates specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements.
- May provide consultation to users and lead cross-functional teams to address business issues.
- May directly produce datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools.
Skills
- Minimum of 5 years finance/accounting experience or business intelligence
- Minimum 3 Years of SQL experience
- Strong relationship-building skills to build trust and rapport with internal stakeholders, bring influence across all levels of analysts and leadership
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Data reporting and analytical skills; must be able to pull and analyze key metrics to measure the results of operational teams and client landscape. Must be able to tell a story via data and withing executive presentations
