Function
The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for managing the job site and ensuring the Job Site Foreman and Installation Technicians follow proper safety procedures on a day-to-day basis. The PM is assigned a project for which they are responsible from start to finish. This position reports to the Operations Manager and is responsible for the P&L of the jobs they manage.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- As projects confirm attend kick-off meetings with CSI team; meet with clients onsite to verify conditions, power, conduit access and hold Safety Meetings
- Determine crew needs and schedule for upcoming projects
- Deliver tools and equipment onsite to crew
- Read and interpret Clearwing CSI and Architectural engineering drawings
- Understand the overall expectations and timeline of the project
- Attend Foreman/Construction meetings as required
- Conduct safety meetings on-site as necessary
- Write, maintain and log RFI’s to and from the General Contractors, clients and consultants as needed
- Coordinate and continuously update expectations and schedule with the GC, EC, and/or customer
- When projects are complete, coordinate schedules for programming, system testing, system commissioning, and end-user training
- Complete Redlines and build close out docs
- Coordinate the removal of Job Boxes from jobsite(s) and other items left behind
- Implement the budget for each assigned project
- Make educated executive decisions regarding minor issues on the job site
- Prepare reports of all projects and submit for review to the Operations Manager
- Maintain a Job Binder with a daily log of all tasks completed issues and actions required by others
- Fill out and submit End of Day (EOD) reports to the sales team, OM, GM
- Continuously review Cost Analysis Reports during and after each project to measure productivity
- Inspect all installation work periodically to assure company practices are being followed
- Provide project information to update at weekly CSI meetings
- Responsible for seeing that all Foremen and Technicians are complying with company, state, and federal regulations and laws
- Must be competent in Lighting and Rigging from an integration standpoint
REQUIREMENTS & CONDITIONS
Skill/Experience Requirements
- Must have at least two (2) years’ experience as a Job Site Foreman and proven ability to manage a team to meet aggressive deadlines and priorities
- Working knowledge of Lighting and Rigging Equipment
- ETC Rigging and Lighting Factory certification preferred
- Be proficient in time management, extremely detailed and results-oriented
- Ability to manage numerous assigned projects of various sizes
- Demonstrated ability to motivate, enable and excite team members
- OSHA 30 certified, PMP certified preferred
Physical Working Conditions
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Work at heights on ladders, lifts and stage grids
- Physical ability to walk, crawl and work in difficult positions and areas
Salary : $60,000 - $75,000
