Description
Function:
The function of the Warehouse Quality Control Technician - I is to efficiently test, maintain, and prepare audio equipment adhering to Clearwing's leading industry standards, prior to it leaving the building and upon its return.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Scan, pull, maintain, clean, and put away gear per job/projects
Mentor other QC techs
Identify missing parts and pieces in job lists/projects
Assist in constructing and deconstructing looms in house
Call & pack trucks
Manage small crew in house to prep/pack shows
Perform repairs and updates
Assist in preparing and patching racks
Use the audio test rig to prep, maintain, and quality control speakers
Prep Shows per Paperwork
Assist with specific tour preps
Recognize the need to clean equipment including cable, speakers, etc.
Assist other company departments as work demands require

Implement networking, RF, com, audio processing, audio system design, and advanced audio theories / practices
Qualifications
Skills & Qualifications:
Level I
Four (4) years working experience in the audio or lighting entertainment industry preferred
Familiar with Clearwing audio or lighting inventory preferred
OSHA 10, OSHA 30 preferred
Forklift Certification
High school diploma or equivalent
Level II
Three (3) years working experience in the entertainment audio industry preferred
Familiarity with Clearwing audio inventory preferred
OSHA 10 preferred
High school diploma or equivalent
Level III
One (1) years working experience in the entertainment audio industry preferred
OSHA 10 preferred
Working Conditions (All positions):
Regularly lift up to 50 lbs
Climb heights up to 12
Stand for prolonged periods of time
Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment
Work "on-call" as needed including some nights, weekends, and holidays
