Essential Duties:

Sales

  • Driving growth of digital solutions leveraging Promētha technology through new membership, parts, and services.
  • Optimizing customer acquisition and strategic account utilization of Promētha technology.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of promotion and advertising programs and recommend improvements or changes.
  • Maintain, follow up, and enhancing the sales pipeline. Ensuring a smooth sales process either direct or through representatives.
  • Support representative/customer Request For Quotes ensuring compatibility of desired Promētha Performing quote follow up to solicit field response and closing of opportunities.
  • Track and document direct sales (memberships), indirect sales (parts & services) and efficiency gains to demonstrating alignment to business objectives.

Technical Guidance

  • Provided technical sales guidance to help prioritize product development and enhancements.
  • Leverage experience of boiler controls and networks to ensure correct hardware and protocols are utilized for product reliability.
  • Maintain data mapping of sensors and control parameters to support various boiler control architectures. Qualifying customer’s & representative’s request of enhancing the value of digital solutions.
  • Provides technical assistance to other internal departments and participates in problem resolution as it relates to Prometha.
  • Supporting technical documentation of installation, operations, and maintenance manuals related to Prometha.

New Product Development

  • Leverage customer and representative feedback to provide priority of product development, to increase market share and useability of the Prometha product to boost sales.
  • Maintain communication with the Aftermarket groups to develop parts & sensor kits to enhance indirect sales opportunities.
  • Develop and support business processes to improve the utilization of Prometha, enabling the efficient delivery of services for reducing time and effort.

Knowledge / Skills Requirements:

  • People skills to effectively interface with others inside and outside the company. Collaborating directly with representatives and staff to resolve internal and external problems, and field related issues quickly.
  • Must be proficient with control platform such as but not limited to: C-B Hawk, Honeywell, Fireye, Siemens LMV, Rockwell.
  • Possess high product competency across Engineered Boiler/Burner Products and accessories is a plus.
  • Experience in the heat transfer and combustion industry is a plus.
  • Knowledge of control networking and communications.
  • Professional Project Management skills a plus.
  • Effective communication skills both written and oral.
  • Excellent documentation skills.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Experience: 3 years minimum, 5 plus years of experience preferred.

Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.

Travel: up to 25%, Must have the ability to routinely travel, by air and utilization of a rental car.

Internal Contacts: (40-70%) Frequent contacts requiring the obtaining or giving of information with development, product management, engineering, manufacturing/distribution warehouse, purchasing, finance, management.

External Contacts: (30-60%) Regular Contacts with representatives, end users are required as a regular part of daily duties. Contacts may occasionally be controversial.

Physical Skill & Effort: Limited manual dexterity required. Work involves fairly light and simple types of physical exertion.

Working Conditions and Hazards: Normal plant, shop, field, or office conditions. From time to time, slightly disagreeable features. Negligible/little or no exposure to hazardous conditions
