Childcare Supervisor

Do you love working with children? If yes, the Cleveland Racquet Club (CRC) is looking for a Childcare Supervisor to join our team. This role will be responsible for assisting with all club activities related to children. Children’s activities offered include summer camp, day off school program, Kids’ Club, kid’s programming, and childcare. This position reports directly to the Membership & Marketing Director. This role could be part-time or full-time.

I. Duties & Responsibilities

· Greet and interact with members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.

· Engage children with interactive activities.

· Monitor children to maintain a healthy and safe environment.

· Adhere to the rules and polices of the Club including no running through the hallways.

· Maintain childcare room and other areas including cleaning up after yourself and the children, organizing and putting away toys, games, and crafts, and vacuuming carpet.

· Sanitize high touch surface areas.

· Accommodate childcare schedule around needs of members and club-wide events and programming.

· Offer suggestions and provide valuable insight for kids programming and events throughout the year.

· Plan and execute special holiday themed events for the children.

· Collaborate with other departments to offers strategically timed events.

· Promote other programming such as Kids Club and Summer Camp when kids become of age.

· Manage inventory of children’s games and toys in the childcare room as well as throughout the Club.

II. Supervisory Responsibilities

· Responsible for supervising children.

III. Educational & Other Skill Requirements

· Possess deep love for children and a strong commitment to fostering positive relationships with families and the community.

· Reliable with strong character and values

· Flexible hours and willingness to work more hours when needed.

· Child sexual abuse class certification or willing to receive upon hiring.

· CPR certified

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Evening shift
• Weekend availability

Work Location: One location
