Our team is growing fast: we're helping over 800 people every month buy and sell homes, and pacing to grow the team and company more than 3X in a single year.
As Clever continues to grow, we're looking to expand our team of Licensed Concierges: the salespeople who use our proprietary technology to help customers find great real estate agents, save on fees, and get support through their transaction.
As an Account Manager in Clever's Mortgage Division, you'll have the opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a new segment of Clever's business, where we team up with Mortgage Lender Partners to provide a world-class experience for their home buyers.
Experience and Travel Requirements:
- This role requires (a) 2 years of mortgage origination experience
- Willingness to spend up to 50% time on-site at a partner's office, or relocate for work.

What you'll do as an Account Manager
- Help hundreds of home buyers navigate the buying process successfully, using Clever's proprietary technology to support all aspects of their journey
- Collaborate closely with loan officers and processors from one of Clever's Mortgage Lender Partners, learning to operate as an extension of their origination team
- Represent Clever's brand with one of our Lender Partners, playing a key role in developing a strategic business relationship
- Triage and resolve incoming tasks, problems and customer questions, keeping many stakeholders informed about a transaction
Who you are
- You have 2 years experience in mortgage origination, for example as a loan officer, loan partner, loan officer assistant, or processor
- You sound great on the phone and love taking care of customers
- You bring a positive attitude to work every day, and it shines through in your calls and relationships with coworkers
- You're organized, task-oriented, and have clear written communication
- You love to learn, and always want to improve
- You get excited about the opportunity to make an impact, getting in on the ground floor to grow a new channel or partnership
Within one month you'll…
- Attend daily training sessions with the team to make sure you're successful
- Attend onboarding where you’ll learn about all aspects of the business including sales, marketing, and engineering while getting to meet your new team members
- Gain a clear understanding of Clever’s business model, and build a mental map of the types of customers who come to Clever
- Get experience in all of the different roles on the sales team
- Attend weekly 1:1s with a mentor to support your growth
Within three months you'll...
- Have developed a broad understanding of Clever's technology and sales processes
- Have participated in a partnership launch with one of Clever's Mortgage Lender Partners: meeting their team, learning their processes, and likely spending 2-8 weeks on-site working in their office
- Be able to watch how your customers are progressing, and see measurable improvement in your sales performance each month
- Be involved in our planning process for new sales improvements
- Have learned about Sales EQ how to apply it to your conversations
Within 12 months you'll...
- Have built lasting relationships with team members at Clever and on our Lender Partner's team
- Have played a key role in growing a new strategic business partnership, helping create new processes for cross-team collaboration

- On-Target Earnings: $80k - $120k
