Position Summary:
The Product Manager (PM) will work with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll-out products that deliver the company’s vision and strategy. The PM is responsible for defining and prioritizing product features and requirements necessary to deliver a product to market. The PM maintains knowledge of the market requirements, represents the needs of end-users and works collaboratively with the commercial and R&D team to ensure successful delivery of the product.
- Gain a deep understanding of customer experience through qualitative and quantitative methods.
- Identify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research, including competition, supported by on-going communication with customers and non-customers.
- Understand and enable the R&D team to make technical decisions that impact the user’s experience, or ability to use the product.
- Set development project priorities for the particular product based on input from all teams including support, Quality Assurance, and Sales.
- Drive product launches including working with public relations team, executives, and other product management team members.
- Lead lateral influence and communication about the product, plan or execution to both key executives, external stakeholders and other members.
- Create clear performance metrics and development of tools and programs to measure effectiveness of relevant marketing efforts including competitor matrices.
- Occasional travel for trade shows and on-site visits.
- Ensure work is performed in compliance with company policies including Privacy/HIPAA and other regulatory, legal, and safety requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Proven work experience in product management or as an associate product manager
- Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
- Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
- Strong conceptual and analytical problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job
- Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bonus: Experience using Sketch/Figma, Adobe, Project Management tools (Jira, Asana), Analytical software such as R, Excel
Education:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Product Management.
- BS/MS degree in Engineering, Humanities or Business.
