Position Purpose: Manage and execute media and public relations efforts for Corporate products, regional health plans and other subsidiaries, including proactive media, public relations and crisis communications.

- Provide strategic communication counsel and guidance to subsidiaries within assigned regions, including proactive public relations initiatives and issues management.
- Oversee Public Relations for Markets and Product subsidiaries.
- Oversee review and approval process between subsidiaries and corporate senior management for public relations activities.
- Monitor and analyze Centene, industry and competitive trends that impact the organization, and recommend and implement action plans.
- Oversee Corporate Public Relations efforts related to national programs, M&A activities and business development activities.
- Manage department staff including hiring, performance management and career development to ensure alignment with defined goals.
