The Choice Inc is seeking an organized, detail-oriented administrative Program Coordinator for our client- a wonderful public health nonprofit.
The Coordinator will support administration for professional education initiatives, specifically the organization’s partnership programs with healthcare professionals. This includes providing support for online continuing education courses, professional webinars, fellowship and scholarships programs, and some events.
This would be an excellent opportunity for growing professionals who enjoy being in a logistical support role. Strong administrative skills are a must!
This is a temporary to hire position and will be a hybrid role (about 2 times per month working in the office).
An ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum 1-2 years of administrative work experience in the non-profit sector or another professional environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Public Health, Education, or related discipline is preferred.
- Ability to commute to Rockville, MD around 2 times a month (other travel will also be required throughout the year)
Job duties:
- Assist with fellowship program administration
- Organize database of fellows to produce reports and sustain regular correspondences
- Coordinate scholarship application process by updating the application each year, advertising to the appropriate audiences, collecting digital and paper applications, distributing applicant packets to the Selection Committee for review and generating awards for selected scholars
- Supports the online continuing education program by liaising with subject matter experts, accrediting bodies, learning management system (LMS) administrators, and corporate sponsors
- Provides routine maintenance of the LMS through regularly scheduled reviews and updates to pages as needed
- Assists with accreditation renewals
- Maintains a data dashboard to produce quarterly, yearly, and other reports on course completions and course takers to present to internal team members and external stakeholders.
- Respond to inquiries or user issues from course takers
- Support to events (virtual and in person conferences and exhibits). Some travel will be required.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
