Job Description
We are seeking a Project Coordinator for a 6 month contract-to-hire role in Englewood CO. In this role, you will assist Project Managers with their work load in an enterprise environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager career path.
Responsibilities of this role are as follows:
- Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information
- Break projects into doable actions and set timeframes
- Liaise with clients to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives
- Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management
- Make sure that clients’ needs are met as projects evolve
- Analyze risks and opportunities
- Oversee project procurement management
- Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise
- Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants
- Work with the Project Manager to eliminate blockers and share their work load
- Use tools to monitor working hours, plans and expenditures
- Create and maintain project documentation, plans and reports
Qualifications
- Project Coordination experience
- Knowledge and aspiration in project management, from conception to delivery
- MS Office Suite experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience managing and taking on project load to help various PM
- Coordination with Dev. Managers to intake, expected completion date/deadlines, ad-hoc request for enhancement & change
- Organized, systematic, outgoing personality & initiative taker
- Constant interaction with PMs and PM team leaders
- Good organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
- Strong client-facing and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control
- Strong working knowledge of Project management tools
Additional Information
This 6 month contract to hire will be located in the south Denver area near I-25 and Lincoln. There are options for a hybrid schedule of remote and onsite weekly.
