Position Three: TIBCO Admin
Location: Irving, TX (100% onsite)
Duration: Fulltime
Job Description:
Install and configuration:
- New EMS instance creations (includes creation of Monitoring unit)
- BW instance creations.
- Hawk alert configuration for EMS Instances
- XMLCanon Setup
- Aperture updates
Server management
- Start/Stop BW Applications from Tibco Admin.
Server Health Checks
- Health Check of file space, CPU utilization and memory on servers.
- Health Check of services.
Troubleshooting
- Troubleshoot TIBCO Application Issues
- Server performance issues
- Hardware / Capacity issues
- Access issues
- For complex issues team would coordinate with engineering, vendor team for issue resolution and root cause analysis
COB Test
- Preparation of COB plan.
- Verify COB environment builds and configurations for identified application participating in COB test.
- Coordinate with application teams for fetching COB specific details and update COB environment.
- Coordinate with corresponding teams for configuration changes.
- Bringing COB environment live on COB day, perform sanity checks along with coordinating with other related teams.
- Troubleshooting any issues reported during COB test.
- Switching applications from COB to Production perform sanity checks.
- Experience in Kubernetes or OpenShift administration
- Experience in Redhat Advanced Cluster Management (ACM) and Advanced Cluster Security (ACS)
- Familiarity with at least one managed Kubernetes platforms (EKS, AKS, GKE)
- Expert knowledge of CI/CD methodology and tooling (Jenkins, Harness)
- Experience with system configuration tools including Ansible, Chief
- Minimum 8 years’ IT experience
- Should have a minimum 4 to 5 years’ working experience in OpenShift and Docker/K8s
- Cluster maintenance and administration experience on OpenShift and Kubernetes
- Development and maintenance in operational condition of Kubernetes orchestral container platforms
- Manage the container platform ecosystem (installation, upgrade, patching, monitoring)
- Check and apply critical patches in OpenShift/Kubernetes
- Troubleshoot issues in OpenShift Clusters
- Perform Root Cause Analysis and produce reports for critical issues
- Ensure the availability of OpenShift clusters
- Strong Knowledge & Experience in RHEL Linux
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Istio Service mesh
- Strong knowledge of Linux
- Scripting (Bash and YAML)
- Jenkins Pipeline creation and execution
- SCM Management such as GitHub and SVN
- Manage OpenShift Management Components and Tenants
- Participates as part of a technical team responsible for the overall support and management of the Kubernetes/OpenShift Container Platform.
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Administration Certification.
