Cardiopulmonary Clinical Nurse Educator

An established acute care medical center located in central North Carolina is currently searching for an experienced Cardiopulmonary Clinical Nurse Educator to join their award-winning healthcare team.

The Cardiopulmonary Clinical Nurse Educator will join a leading service line that has received more than five national awards for quality achievements in cardiac and stroke care. The Nurse Educator will join a cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation program that works to improve the patient’s heart, respiratory, and overall health. The cardiac and pulmonary rehab program offers a variety of treatments and therapies including supervised education, nutrition planning, lifestyle education, and much more.

The Cardiopulmonary Clinical Nurse Educator will lead the professional development activities of the licensed and unlicensed employees to ensure further professional competencies. The Nurse Educator will serve as a subject matter expert by planning, assessing, and evaluating the educational needs of staff, patients, and families. The Nurse Educator must have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of nursing, Master’s degree is preferred. Prior experience as a Nurse Educator in a similar clinical setting is highly preferred.
