An established acute care hospital located in eastern Massachusetts is currently searching for an experienced Clinical Documentation Improvement Nurse to join their award-winning healthcare team.
This not-for-profit acute care facility is home to nearly 150-beds and provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient medical and surgical services. For more than a century, this medical facility has offered a variety of services including emergency and urgent care, primary care, perioperative services, oncology, pediatrics, and women’s health services, and much more. Known as a regional provider of healthcare, this system is known to treat more than 50,000 patients annually.
Reporting to the Director of Health Information Management, the Clinical Documentation Improvement Nurse reviews the quality of medical records and documentation to ensure accurate information recording all stages of care. The Clinical Documentation Improvement Nurse will act as a resource within the clinical teams and provides expert knowledge of coding and coded data. The Clinical Documentation Improvement Nurse will work directly with a number of system leaders including Medical Staff, Case Management, Nursing, Health Information Management, Revenue Cycle, and Quality Management.
