Reporting directly to the Nurse Manager of Critical Care, The ICU Nurse Educator will be supported by numerous D.A.I.S.Y award nurses who have the highest level of nurse experience to offer the Nurse Educator the utmost support. This collaborative team of nursing experts is an excellent team for the Nurse Educator to work with.
The ICU Nurse Educator will participate in the development, coordination, and monitoring of education, policies, and procedures within the hospital, ICU, local area, state, and region. The ICU Nurse Educator will educate all facets of care, including policies and procedures, documentation, and data collection/synthesis to ensure continual readiness for various Surveys. The ICU Nurse Educator will also provide leadership, training, coaching, mentoring, and hands-on support to the organization by meeting tactical and strategic goals.
