An award-winning acute care hospital located in the Northern MA region is currently searching for an experienced Emergency Department Nurse Educator to join their established healthcare team.
The Emergency Department Nurse Educator will join a 200-bed acute care hospital that provides a wide variety of medical and surgical services. This organization provides a variety of world-class medical and surgical services including cancer care, cardiology and vascular care, emergency and trauma medicine, critical care, laboratory services, diagnostic imaging, behavioral health, surgical services, women’s health, and much more.
Under limited supervision, the Emergency Department Nurse Educator will lead the professional development activities for the service line. This emergency department provides 24/7 patient care to nearly 35,000 patients annually. The Nurse Educator will ensure the emergency staff is working in compliance with regulatory compliance standards, serve as a clinical preceptor and educator, and lead as a clinical expert in the department.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of nursing is required along with current state nursing licensure. The Nurse Educator must have broad understanding of emergency and critical care settings and should have at least 3-5 years of prior nursing experience. The Nurse Educator must be able to work independently and communicate effectively amongst a variety of staff groups.
