A well-established hospital in Washington State is seeking a House Supervisor to join there leadership team. This community based hospital prides itself on providing local residents outstanding acute care. The House Supervisor will help the hospital continue to reach its goal of improving the quality of patient care through humane and respectful health care practices.
The House Supervisor will report to the Chief Nursing Officer and will function as a leader and role model of all of the hospital departments in the absence of the CNO. As a leader, the House Supervisor will manage and supervise the exceptional nursing staff to be sure that optimal patient care, nursing practices and healthcare standards are being met.
The House Supervisor will primarily oversee the Trauma and Emergency departments, but will also be responsible for the Medical & Surgical Units, Obstetrics and Intensive Care Unit, as well as some outpatient services. The Hospital Administrator will need to be able to wear lots of different hats depending on the needs of the hospital on a given day. Strong experienced based decision making will be critical for the success of the House Supervisor.
