This 25-bed critical access facility provides a variety of general acute care services as well as medical telemetry and a swing-bed program. The Manager of Food and Nutrition Services will join a regional leading multi-institutional health system that provides a range of acute and long-term care services to residents of the mid-state and upstate New York regions
The Interim Dietitian provides quality patient care in collaboration with the Nutrition Services Manager. He or she identifies patient needs and participates with the direct care team in the development and execution of the Multidisciplinary Care Plan. Compiles and evaluates data in preparing Nutritional Assessments and Care Planning in compliance with established Standards of Practice. Evaluates patients at nutritional risk and provides appropriate nutritional intervention.
The qualified Food and Nutrition Specialist will have a BS in Dietetics and will be registered with The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. This critical access hospital is located in a beautiful Finger Lake region of mid-state New York; an area that offers great outdoor activities, temperate climate, and an affordable cost of living.
