Orthopedics Program Nursing Manager

With over 250-beds, this short term acute care medical center in East Texas is actively searching for an exceptional, experienced Nursing Manager to lead an important Spine and Orthopedics Program. This person will join an outstanding nursing program and a hospital that’s become a staple in the community over its 50 years. Centered around its most acute services is a full host of community health services including Primary Care, a great Family Birthing Center, Oncology Care, and a highly-rated Orthopedics program.

Reporting to the Nurse Director Orthopedics and Neuroscience Service Lines, the Nursing Manager will oversee a mission critical program for the hospital. Working closely with a wide array of Nurse Leaders across the hospital, including Emergency Services, Medical Surgical / Ortho, and Perioperative Services, this person will own leadership and coordination for one of the largest spine programs in the region.

The Orthopedics Nursing Manager will take oversight of both clinical and administrative aspects of the hospital’s spine program. This person will support evidence based practice and education that directly enhances patient care. You’ll get to work alongside an excellent, tenured team of RNs to drive exceptional patient outcomes.

Related to driving clinical outcomes, this Nursing Manager will also spearhead the administrative and regulatory aspects that keep the Orthopedics and Spine program running smoothly. This person will maintain Spine Accreditation from the ACS, and will work to make sure that all of the quality aspects for gold standard recognition are in place.
