Perioperative Quality Improvement Nurse

A unique and exciting opportunity has just become available for a Perioperative Quality Improvement Nurse in Central Wisconsin! The perioperative nurse leader with expertise in quality and survey preparedness will be welcomed to the opportunity.

This beloved 450 bed acute care facility and designated Trauma Center is located in the Central Wisconsin region, and boasts a variety of medical services including: 24-hour emergency services, inpatient and outpatient surgical services, 4 ICUs including pediatric and neonatal intensive care, cancer treatment services, complex cardiovascular care, radiology and imaging services, as well as outpatient services to include rehabilitation, PT, OT, and wound care. This facility is accredited by The Joint Commission (TJC) and is also a teaching hospital affiliated with a local university.

The Perioperative Quality Improvement Nurse will be responsible for oversight of the perioperative quality improvement program, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, RNs, and other surgical services staff to develop and implement strategies to improve clinical and surgical outcomes. The Perioperative Quality RN will assist with preparation for TJC surveys and readiness, being responsible for data collection and analytics with regards to quality improvement measures. The Perioperative Quality Improvement Nurse will maintain previous experience in quality improvement and 5 years of surgical services experience in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will also maintain experience with Lean projects, data collection, analytics, and project management.
