We are looking for a Project Manager in Medical Affairs.
Position open to 100% remote work

The Project Manager position will provide direct support for a range of activities, both internally and externally. This position will help to support and organize multiple cross-functional activities, and internal and external meetings, ensuring completion of the projects, while adhering to budget, scope and scheduling requirements.
The individual will be expected to prepare reports, summaries, and meeting notes, in PowerPoint, email, word, and other documents, both for internal and external purposes. The individual will also help support interactions and communications for specific projects and activities with internal stakeholders, as well as external HCPs, and other organizations. Serves as an in-house department consultant for evaluating needs and vendor requests for proposals and provides proactive oversight and administrative support for initial review, and accuracy of financial reports and activities. This position has responsibility for executive support and project management of primarily all non-technical activities. Applies best practices in the development, initiation, planning, execution, control and closing of these activities and ensures that they are in compliance and as per SOPs. Interacts with cross-functional teams (including but not limited to) research and development, marketing, manufacturing and regulatory departments, and a key part of this position will be supporting internal and external meeting planning, preparation and interactions with attendees. This position contributes to and supports the company's research and development efforts to create high value therapeutics to address unmet medical needs.

Skills:
Manages the planning and execution of Medical Affairs projects and activities, as directed, by Medical Affairs management from initiation through delivery. Organizes cross-functional activities, (including internal meetings, internal educational activities, external through leader and HCP engagement activities, ensuring completion of the activity, including supporting budget, scope and schedule requirements. Prepares reports, summaries, pre, and post-activities, and ensures dissemination to key stakeholders in a timely manner. Serves as an in-house department consultant for evaluating needs and managing vendor requests, SOWs, budgets, invoicing, etc. Proactively plans and directs implementation efforts. This position has responsibility for department meeting management, as well as oversight of primarily all non-technical departmental activities. Applies best practices in the development, initiation, planning, execution, control and closing of these projects. Interacts with cross-functional teams (including but not limited to) research and development, marketing, manufacturing, corporate, legal, finance, and regulatory departments. This position contributes to and supports the company's research and development efforts to create high value therapeutics to address unmet medical needs. This position also will have some core administrative functions, and routine clerical tasks such as emailing, copying, handling and maintaining sensitive information; coordinating and maintaining the Medical Affairs calendar and group meeting schedules; facilitating meeting logistics for internal and virtual meetings. Support of consulting agreements and vendor agreements; providing support with timesheets and expense reimbursements; purchasing and maintaining materials and supplies related to key projects and meetings; support with alliance and HCP agreements and sponsorships; developing best practices and templates for departmental activities; handling in-person and virtual meetings, both internal and external, as requested.

Education:
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in business or related discipline is required. An advanced degree is highly preferred. Equivalent experience may be accepted. Certification in Project Management is preferred.

A minimum of 2 years project management or departmental program or related management/administrative experience is required. Pharmaceutical, medical products, or university or other related institutional experience is preferred. Prior experience in managing interdisciplinary or cross functional projects and meeting management is required. An understanding of HCP engagements and healthcare regulatory processes is highly desired. Continuing education in Project Management best practices is preferred. A working knowledge of basic financial accounting is required, and vendor management and contract oversight are also preferred. Proficient computer skills and good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project are required. Must be able to demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving capabilities. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Must possess and demonstrate strong leadership, influencing and organizational skills.
