Provide support in the operation of the hospital’s Gift Shop to include, but not limited to customer service, ordering, inventory, resets and general merchandising.
Qualifications
Education Experience/Qualifications:
- Must be a High School graduate or equivalent with basic typing and computer skills.
- Prior experience in sales and merchandising preferred and/or in a customer service environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides excellent customer service to all customers and supports the overall organizational patient/customer satisfaction initiative sand programs
- Supports the planning, receiving, preparation and display of merchandise
- Supports sales promotion, placement, and pricing of merchandise
- Helps to solve problems that affect service, efficiency, and productivity
- Able to respond to inquiries and complaints regarding merchandise
- Assists in taking inventory, checks stock of certain supplies, accurately notes quantities needed to
be ordered and completes ordering in timely manner
- Able to operate the POS (Point of Sale) register, manage daily receipts and generate reports
- Answers phones in a courteous and timely manner receives and conveys accurate information.
And handles calls within the scope of responsibility and authority
- Keeps the area clean, neat, and stocked
- Performs all job responsibilities in a manner consistent with customer service goals and mission
of the CMH Regional Health System
- Performs all other duties as required or requested by management in an accurate and timely manner
- Supports gift shop leadership in achieving annual sales, other duties as assigned.
Hours: Part-Time
