Description
The Accounting Clerk is committed to supporting Cloeren Incorporated continue to be the leader in extrusion die and feedblock quality and technology by accurately and timely process accounting transactions for multiples companies while following strict internal control procedures.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Accurately and timely code and enter a high volume of accounts payable invoices.
- Communicate with department managers for invoice approval.
- Review and research discrepancies in supplier invoicing.
- Prepare supplier payments for approval.
- Participate in preparation of accounts receivable invoices.
- Assist with journal entries, account balancing, and general ledger analysis.
- Provide support to other accounting staff.
- Performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Adhere to strict accounting policies and procedures.
Requirements
At a minimum, the accounting clerk must have a high school diploma, or equivalent, along with 3 years accounts payable/receivable experience in a high pace, high volume industry and 3 years of experience working within an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system with demonstrated ability to generate, read, analyze, and interpret data from ERP system.

- Effectively communicate in a positive and professional manner through written and verbal communications in all interfaces with customers/public, fellow employees, vendors, etc.
- Ability to use appropriate computer programs (including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Suite) which includes having proficient computer skills and the ability to adapt and learn as programs and processes change.
- Ability to work as a team member and exert initiative to work independently to reach a goal.
- Ability to embrace change in the workplace while encouraging others to seek innovative approaches.
- Ability to function effectively as a team player.
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule, as needed, to best serve our business operations.
