Job Title: Product Lead with - DMV- Department of Motor Vehicle, US government client experience
Location: Sacramento, CA(Remote)
Duration: Long Term Contract (possibly 2yrs with extension)
Project Scope:
The project involves modernizing DMV’s communication mechanism with AAMVA from Mainframe Unified Network Interface (MF UNI) to RESTful API to meet sunsetting requirements by 2028. The modernization effort will leverage transitional integration architecture to migrate DMV applications in a phased manner to the new integration mechanism
Responsibilities:
- The Functional Lead supports the project by leading, designing, developing, testing, and implementing Solution components using specialized knowledge of the PaaS platform’s functional capabilities.
- The Functional Lead is typically certified by the PaaS manufacturer as a specialist in the product line.
- The Platform Functional Lead works with the other Contractor leads to ensure all implementation and M&O requirements are fully met.
- The Functional Lead is expected to understand the PaaS vendor’s product roadmap, and release upgrades, and works with the Solution Architect and the DMV Technical Lead to implement releases and upgrades without disruption to the implemented Solution and the project.
Mandatory Skills:
- Leads the functional implementation of the PaaS Solution.
- Manages design, configuration, customization, testing, implementation, maintenance, and operations of the Solution using Agile methodology processes.
- Works with the Product Manager and DMV subject matter experts in planning, creation, and management of the user stories backlog.
- Designs and develop custom workflow and functionality on the PaaS platform to meet Solution requirements. Supports the Technical Lead in integrating and interfacing with PaaS components and third-party products.
