With strong momentum going into 2022, Cloudbeds is harnessing the opportunity to fundamentally change how the hospitality industry uses technology. This VP of Sales will help us achieve this goal by defining and executing Cloudbeds’ GTM strategy and growing revenue 5x in 2 years by implementing best-in-class processes, and hiring, developing, and growing a global sales organization.

Location:  Remote - United States

What You Will Do: 

  • Scale, mentor, and develop a high-performing global sales organization that is customer-centric, aligned to the Cloudbeds’ culture of respect for customers, employees, and mission to serve the hospitality industry.
  • Own 95% of the total company’s revenue and drive Cloudbeds through the next phase of growth, building a world-class, repeatable, predictable, and scalable sales machine.
  • Continuously develop sales training, programs, processes, and tools to improve business growth, generate leads, and drive customer satisfaction. 
  • Uplevel Cloudbeds’ field sales and “in-market” strategies, in particular. Push the visibility and market awareness of Cloudbeds, in a high-touch, physical way.  
  • Understand Cloudbeds’ current customer traction and path to IPO. Drive and evolve the go-to-market strategy, ensuring that it aligns with future growth and revenue goals.
  • Recruit and onboard sales talent while providing the leadership and mentorship to inspire an ambitious sales culture and surpass revenue targets.
  • Partner closely with the executive team as a strategic operator and innovative thinker who can help with the continuous improvement and evolution of the company. 
  • Bring in operational rigor around the overall effectiveness of pipeline management, process, methodology, metrics, review, and cadence.
  • Hire great people and set clear expectations to create a culture of accountability and excellence.

You’ll Succeed With: 

  • 10 years of experience in sales leadership within high-growth SaaS environments. 
  • Proven evangelical sales track record with experience successfully scaling companies $100M in revenue.
  • Strong experience in hiring and developing high-performing global sales organizations and leaders. Track record of scaling sales teams from 100 employees to 600 employees. 
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment, with demonstrated success scaling an organization through rapid growth at a global scale.
  • Extensive experience and understanding of the velocity, high-touch sales motion. Resonate with the unique challenge the Cloudbeds’ platform is solving.
  • Strong executor implementing sales processes, tools, and sales fundamentals company-wide.
  • Disciplined and confident executive that delivers predictable outcomes. Recognizes how to combine competitiveness with empathy. 
  • High horsepower; leads from the front. Someone who won’t shy away from finding a better way to do something. Intellectually curious. 
  • Known for building positive, collaborative relationships with peers and others within a company. Unquestionable integrity, credibility, and character.
  • Robust global and multicultural experience is highly preferred, especially with EMEA/LATAM markets.
  • Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree is a plus.
