Spa Host

CLOVR Life Spa has an openings for a part-time day time Host and a part-time evening Host (3:30-7:30 or 8:30PM) to join our team. CLOVR is a busy, multi-service spa located in the robust, growing community of Apple Valley. We are located in the Cobblestone Shopping Center and near a busy Target and Caribou Coffee.

CLOVR offers massage, facials, medical grade facials and peels, HydraFacials, Botox, waxing, and nail services. We believe in teamwork and deliver top notch service from every touch point when a guest enters the spa. Our spa is bright, clean, and 4,000 square feet of mid-century modern décor (think West Elm). We are a membership-based spa with more than 500 members (not all guests are members) and are in need of expanding our host staff and have a daytime schedule available (approx. 9 hours per week from 11 AM-2 PM and possible fill in for an occasional evening /weekend shift) and a very part-time evening shift from 3:30-7:30 or 8:30 PM and an occasional Sunday from 11-5PM. CLOVR Apple Valley’s operating days and hours include Sunday 11-5, CLOSED Monday, Tuesday 10-8PM, Weds 10-7PM, Thursday 10-8PM, Friday 9-8PM, and Saturdays 9-6PM.

The Host position is the first point of contact for our guests and members. This professional position greets members and guests and assists with check-in’s and consents, manages the appointment scheduling and the artists schedules, guest check out and payments, membership sales, tours of the spa, product sales, gift card sales, light housekeeping and some laundry duties, and overall coordination of front of the house. Host candidates should be detail-oriented, professional, comfortable with a computer and point of sale systems, punctual, outgoing and people-oriented, and have the ability to multi-task. Must be able to stand during your shift. We are looking for candidates who are available for a consistent, stable schedule, dependable, value a good work environment, and possess a good work ethic. This position requires a minimum of 3 years work experience. Prior guest relations/ customer service/healthcare experience is a PLUS. The Host position reports to the Front of House/Guest Relations Manager. A criminal background check is required of all employees.

Compensation: $16-17 per hour, depending on experience, but 3 years work experience is required, plus commission on membership sales ($10-15 per membership sold).

COVID-19 considerations:
We take great care in sanitizing and keeping the spa very clean. We do not have a mask policy, but allow people to choose. Some employees wear masks, some do not. Most of the licensed professionals do. Our spa is impeccably rated with the state.
