What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Manager position at Club Pilates?
We are seeking a General Manager to join our team! You will be responsible for driving the four streams of in-studio revenue:
- Membership Sales (~70-80% of total revenue)
- Private Training (~10% of total revenue)
- Retail (~10% of total revenue)
- Teacher Training (~5-10% of total revenue)
Other Responsibilities:
- Supervise team of sales workers
- Adjust daily schedule for shift personnel to ensure optimal efficiency
- Train and evaluate employees
- Track monthly results and trends for business forecasting
- Resolve escalated customer complaints
Qualities of a Successful GM:
- Consistently achieves revenue goals. Takes responsibility for performance by controlling the controllable.
- Team builder. Motivates the team to offer incredible classes and top-notch customer service.
- Skillfully utilizes the tools provided and works the Club Pilates system provided by Corporate
- Takes ownership in-studio, taking pride in studio cleanliness and developing staff as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or other related fields
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities
Salary : $36,000 - $50,000
