Club Stride Inc is a youth empowerment organization that drives equity centered youth action that contributes to shaping healthy communities.

Club Stride, Inc. provides high-quality experiential civic education to increase the scale, impact and equity of civic engagement. Our overarching goal is to close civic participation gaps that contribute to unhealthy communities. Our approach to civic renewal is youth-centered and participatory, and focuses on highlighting connections between media literacy and civic education.​

Through a series of leadership and equity-based initiatives, Club Stride, Inc. utilizes civic media and technology to inspire youth expression, discussion and informed action for social change.

Help Solano County youth leaders discover how to bring the d.school design thinking tool, process principles and mindset into their work to tackle real life community challenges and amplify social impact. Creatively engage with students and community.

Position Details:

This position will require at least 10 hours per week, and includes additional projects not listed here (for the right candidate). Looking for a long-term working relationship.

Responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget, planing and designating project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed the entire way, within the confines of our company's goals and vision.

Must have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or business, as well as several years of experience in relevant line of work with increasing responsibility. Candidates with Project Management Professional (PMP) certification encouraged to apply. Chosen person will be detail-oriented and have excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Determine and define project scope and objectives
• Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
• Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
• Track project costs in order to meet budget
• Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
• Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
• Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
• Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
• Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
• Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement

Qualifications for Project Manager

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field
• 3-5 years of project management and related experience
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
• Proven ability to solve problems creatively
• Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
• Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
• Excellent analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
• Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to $30.00 per hour
