What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server/Cashier position at Clubhouse Grill?
Duties:
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Take customer orders and accurately enter them into the POS system
- Serve food and beverages according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure food safety protocols are followed during food preparation and handling
- Handle cash transactions and provide accurate change to customers
- Maintain a clean and organized front of house establishment
- Assist with cleaning and sanitizing dining areas, tables, chairs, and utensils
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to increase sales
Skills:
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
- Strong customer service skills to provide a positive dining experience
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and coworkers
- Experience in sales or upselling techniques is a plus
- Proficient in handling cash transactions accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Restaurant experience is recommended, but not required.
