What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transfer Driver position at Clutter?
Clutter is an on-demand, physical storage and moving, technology company that is disrupting the $50B/year self-storage and moving industries and currently looking for Transfer Drivers to join the team. As a Transfer Driver you should have a positive attitude, a great work ethic, and love to stay active!
Pay Rate: $20 per hour paid weeklyType: Part Time
Hours: Day shift (9am to 5:30pm)
Location: Transfer Drivers start and end their shift at the Clutter warehouse in Ontario.
Responsibilities of a Transfer Driver:
Drive one of our Clutter box trucks (Max Length 26') from our Fontana Warehouse to our warehouse in Ontario and back.
Load and unload the truck, with the ability to lift heavy and large items.
Maintain a high level of safety while operating Clutter vehicles
Use our iPhone app for shift clock-ins and dispatch
Requirements of a Transfer Driver:
3 years of commercial driving experience
Standard driver's license
At least 20 years of age with high school diploma, GED or equivalent
Ability to pass a physical exam required
- As a Transfer Driver you must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodations and energy to move and pack throughout the day
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time, estimated 8 hours per shift
Weekend availability required
Transfer Drivers must have a basic understanding of iPhone technology
Experience with at least one of the following preferred: moving, warehouse, manufacturing, inventory management, stocking, customer service, helper or general labor
