The Role The primary responsibilities of the Retirement Solutions Specialist (RSS) - Business Retirement Services are to support all strategic partnerships related to acquiring and retaining investors and assets, assist Plan Sponsors and their Plan Participants with plan and account servicing, and increase assets via proactive segmented outbound. You will provide appropriate financial and retirement solutions by telephone, while delivering outstanding service in every interaction by listening and identifying needs and understanding the client’s and/or prospect’s goals and objectives. You will maintain an extensive knowledge of American Century Investments' products and services, including our philosophy, principles, values, and capabilities, in order to maintain client relationships and facilitate the investor’s experience with American Century. What you will do: Display a high degree of proficiency, experience, and product knowledge with emphasis on driving results. Focus on relationship building and growing our retirement business through inbound and proactive outbound activity. Become proficient on retirement industry acumen, our competition, and our retirement platforms. Become proficient on business IRA’s both at the Plan Sponsor and Participant level. Assist with all aspects of plan selection and administration, as well as participant enrollment and education. Assist with Qualified Retirement Plan business as appropriate. Engage clients and prospects in highly personalized interactions to retain and acquire new assets. These clients will include Plan Sponsors, Plan Participants, Plan Termination Services customers, and Client Management Solutions referrals. This will be accomplished by both inbound and proactive outbound activity. Outbound interactions will focus on small to mid-size opportunities, with consolidation efforts being the secondary goal. Be accountable for the success of the department sales goals through a dedication to perform at your personal best. Initiate, plan, and follow through. Provide a positive and lasting image of ACI through all interactions. What will you bring to the role?
