Digital Designer

CMYK is looking for a full-time Digital Designer. Our ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with brands to design interactive web platforms, whether in an academic or professional setting.

General responsibilities will include design research, strategy, and implementation for a wide-range of digital—and occasionally print—projects.

Please note that this listing is for an in-person position at our studio in Brooklyn, NY and is not eligible for remote candidates.

Typical Activities:

Building digital design compositions

Building out UX wireframes

Design ideation

Performing design research

Preparing files and assets for web

Providing input during creative meetings and collaborating with design and development teams

Quality control testing of designs

Working with Senior Designer and Art Director to concept and execute on projects

Requirements

Software Proficiencies:

Adobe Creative Cloud

Figma

Presentation design software (Keynote, PowerPoint)

Sketch

Experience and Skills:

2 - 3 years of academic and / or professional experience

Ability to meet deadlines

Ability to work and create within existing brand style guidelines

Capable of managing multiple concurrently running creative projects and initiatives

Experience with research and a basic understanding of digital development processes / workflows

Solid understanding of and experience with digital UI / UX principles

Willingness to accept and incorporate feedback

Bonus Experience and Skills:

Branding design (brand identity development, logo design, etc.)

Experience managing teams and / or projects and initiatives
