Job Summary:

The Marketing Coordinator at C.N. Wood will develop and execute marketing initiatives and support day-to-day functions that pertain to marketing. Daily activities include organizing local marketing events, implementing marketing programs, and maintaining digital and print communications to increase brand awareness.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with management team to develop branding messages and campaigns for the sales, rentals, service and parts departments.
  • Develops and expands company’s web presence through social media, email, web advertising, and other online sources; promotes company brand through these channels.
  • Coordinates, tracks, and assists team members with event and trade show planning.
  • Collaborates with web development and design partner; provides guidance on marketing-related aspects of the company’s web presence.
  • Develops and distributes materials related to sales, training, and marketing.
  • Assists with production of company newsletter that is distributed internally and externally.
  • Develops and maintain positive professional relationships with each of our vendors marketing teams to implement their marketing standards into our marketing efforts.
  • Assists with designing, ordering, and budgeting of all promotional materials.
  • Assists with budget preparation for marketing department.
  • Collects and compiles customer feedback in an easily reviewed and understood format for review by company management and leadership.
  • Provides all other campaign/marketing support as needed.

Qualifications/Experience/Attributes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or related field preferred but not required.
  • Experience producing and managing social media accounts.
  • Ability to work independently on projects.
  • Experience with events, trade shows, or similar planning.
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (or equivalent).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management.
  • Able to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Detailed-oriented problem solver with a positive attitude and strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
    • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times

Occasional Travel (trade shows, vendor partner marketing summits, professional development opportunities, etc.)
