What are the responsibilities and job description for the Trust Officer position at CNB Bank and Trust, N.A.?
As a CNB Trust Officer, you will:
- Provide administrative services for fiduciary trust accounts and agency investment accounts. Check files for correct forms, codes, review payments and transaction for accuracy.
- Review and interpret estate and trust documents to ensure compliance.
- Analyze anticipated income to ensure sufficient cash is maintained to meet distributions and expenses.
- Provide trust and estate planning solutions and wealth transfer strategies to clients and prospects in partnership with attorneys and CPAs.
- Understand tax research and preparation of various tax reporting documents.
- Research, gather, and compile data and information, prepare reports, and maintain account files.
- Participate on projects, new initiatives, systems, products/services, and processes.
- Provide support activities including resolving problems and inquiries of clients, reviewing, and controlling incoming and outgoing correspondence; and following up on client inquiries.
- Manage risk to ensure all relationships are within CNB’s account risk profile.
- Follow appropriate Regulation 9 requirements.
- Work with appropriate colleges to develop investment strategies.
- Build strong relationships with key COI’s and Bankers.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree plus additional training in trust, investment management, or financial planning; preferably trust investment experience; or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Graduate from the National Graduate Trust School is preferred.
Work Schedule:
Full Time Position - Monday through Friday.
Varied hours and schedule depending on operational needs. Overtime and evening hours as needed.
