Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
- Operate equipment to produce parts as called for on the work orders.
- Load tools, materials, programs, and parameters per work order.
- Fabricate parts to print specifications and remove slag resulting from cutting processes.
- Responsible for piece part quality. Perform adjustments as necessary to produce product within print tolerance. Reject product outside of specifications.
- Responsible for inspection of parts, accuracy, accurate part counts, total quality, employee involvement, cost reductions, and training new operators.
- Detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, defective materials and unusual conditions to proper supervision.
- Claim parts to work orders and create move tags accurately.
- Complete OEE documentation accurately.
- Communicate with operators from other shifts.
- Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations.
- Clean and maintain work area.
- Turn off equipment when not in use.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Operator must be capable of reviewing and understanding blue prints using both metric and SAE measurements.
- Operator must be able to know how to correctly use the following measuring equipment: Tape Measure, Dial Caliper, Micrometer, and Depth and Bore Gauge.
** Pay starts at $24.41/hr. with pay increases every 6 months to a max of $28.04/hr. **
YYou will receive a $4,000 retention bonus, less applicable taxes, payable after 180 consecutive days of employment.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent
- Manual dexterity required
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job including the ability to lift up to 45 pounds
- Regular and consistent attendance
