Job purpose
Co-Diagnostics Inc, (Co-Dx) is a Salt Lake City biotechnology company committed to finding innovative diagnostic solutions to global health problems as we develop a home PCR test system to detect viruses and other pathogens. The Grants Manager is responsible for managing the entire process to locate grants, write grant proposals and implement the grants once they are received.
Duties and responsibilities (Essential Functions)
· Determine the needs for funding and write and develop grant programs.
· Research funding possibilities and identify support organizations (governmental and non-governmental).
· Develop strategies that can improve grant administration processes.
· Use computer software to supervise administration and grant processes.
· Track grant applications.
· Design grant programs.
· Manage timelines and deliverables.
· Prepare and monitor budgets.
· In collaboration with program staff, develop and implement monitoring procedures to track grant implementation.
· Maintain positive relationships with fund providers and other stakeholders – inside and outside of the company.
· Maintain records and submit reports related to grant opportunities.
· Work with the finance department to prepare monthly, quarterly, and/or annual reports to government, foundations, and other funders as required.
Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills, Certifications, etc.)
Education:
· Bachelor’s degree in finance or another related field and/or relevant work experience.

Skills:
· Excellent research and written/verbal communication skills.
· Ability to study and understand programs and funding requirements for Co-Dx.
· Multitasking, organizational and time management skills.
· Ability to oversee confidential matters with utmost integrity.
· Working knowledge of computers
· Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and committed to excellence.
· Capable of working well with a variety of personalities and leadership styles.
· Highly organized and professional demeanor.
· Resourcefulness, planning, promotions savvy, and problem-solving acumen.
Working conditions
· Onsite is preferred but remote or hybrid may be considered with adequate experience
· Travel on an occasional basis may be required (10-20%) to attend conferences, seminars, or presentations.
· The role may be full-time or part-time depending on the workload and the availability of candidate
Physical requirements
· This job requires long periods of sitting, standing, and walking.
