We are seeking a talented Client Business Manager to proactively manage a portfolio of mid-tier relationships, larger Core-Accounts and potentially some other smaller client relationships.  Focus will be to retain and grow existing client relationships, add-on sales, maintain high level of client satisfaction and prospect for new line of business opportunities.  This position requires frequent travel.   

What You Can Look Forward to

  • Maintain a high level of client satisfaction by working proactively with clients to experience the value of their CO-OP relationships.
  • Work closely with other areas within the company to manage client satisfaction.
  • Initiate contact with clients in the assigned portfolio to ensure they are knowledgeable on the value of CO-OP and have an understanding of the products/services we provide to the credit union market.
  • Under the direction of the VP, Client Business Representative Leader work to develop add-on sales and retention strategies.
  • Create proposals for renewals on an as-needed basis and present to clients.
  • Cross-sell products and services by seeking out decision makers to assess their needs and making the appropriate recommendation based on the client’s processing method.  Engage the Regional Sales Managers and Sales Engineers as needed.
  • Participate in meetings, conferences, etc. as directed.
  • Understand market changes and legislative issues that may impact client decisions.
  • Frequent travel up to 70%.
  • Responsible for reporting risks that are identified to the appropriate team and/or management. Additionally, responsible for managing, monitoring and reporting risks within the scope of your work area, to include, but not limited to Information Security risks.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • Completion of high school, or equivalent.
  • Two years of Financial Institution background in operations, marketing, or member services or previous client-facing experience, or equivalent training and/or experience.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and proven leadership skills required. 
  • Good presentation skills and some sales background preferred.
  • This position requires travel (approximately 50 – 70%).  Must have own car, car insurance, and a valid driver’s license.
