Associate Graphic Design Coordinator

Job Summary: The Associate Graphic Design Coordinator is a producer and graphic designer for the ProAssurance Marketing Department. The position supports the Director of Creative Services and Brand Management by efficiently designing and coordinating the production of assets for strategic marketing and sales initiatives designed to create brand awareness and improve customer sentiment for ProAssurance. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented project manager able to move multi-level design approvals toward completion in a fast-paced environment. Projects include agent newsletters, website graphics, point of sale marketing materials, event/tradeshow materials, trade advertisements, and development of graphics for email marketing, social media, webinars, and more. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 55% - Coordinate production of marketing materials and graphic/brand assets: Works with marketing copywriters to produce printed and digital marketing assets for marketing and sales initiatives. Supports problem solving and project ideation challenges. Helps coordinate workflow for Creative Services department projects. Tracks project status to ensure all jobs are accounted for and on schedule to meet desired outcome/deadlines using project management system. Assists in maintaining current ProAssurance style guide and brand guidelines, keeping preferences and rules up-to-date by revising, developing, and documenting restrictions as needed. Assists in coordinating work produced by external creative talent (freelance designers, illustrators, video producers, ad agencies) to coordinate production of on-brand graphic assets. Keeps competitor communications samples organized for easy access and review. 45% - Administrative Duties: Reviews design proofs and approvals to ensure on-brand, high quality output, with attention to detail and design. Inspects finished products to ensure quality and brand standards have been met. Updates marketing materials and graphics to maintain current styles used are within the brand guidelines. Supports and maintains the graphic asset library, keeping stock images and files organized for easy access. Maintains collaborative work relationships with internal and external colleagues. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in graphic design or related field. 3 years graphic design/project management experience. Desire to seek out creative solutions and growth. Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal presentation skills. Proficient in Adobe software including Indesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
