Customer Support Specialist (Fully Remote)

Working Hours: M-F, 8am-6pm Pacific Time Zone
Pay: $16.00/hr USD

About the Role
We’re looking to grow our team of support Coastliners!
- Support our internal and external customers through Zendesk and Slack
- Customers seeking driver education who contact us by phone, ticket, or chat. New students typically want to understand the process of getting a driver’s license, to book lessons, and to reschedule. We maintain an exceptionally high standard for customer care, making this role a critical function at our company.
- Our driving instructors - we help to maintain their lesson schedules and act as liaisons between instructors and students, ensuring a seamless experience for both.
- Collaborate with other departments including engineering, instructor management, and fleet
- Escalate issues to the appropriate team while maintaining communication with the our customers
- Collaborate with your team to build strong relationships, establish ownership of responsibilities, and improve the efficiency of our processes
About You:
- Some experience in a support role
- A track record of a high standard of customer care
- Experience with contemporary apps such as Zendesk and Slack
- Comfortable with technology - we use multiple apps and online services, including our own, (we’ll teach you to navigate them with ease!)
- A genuine passion for calmly, patiently, and empathetically helping people
- Effective writing and speaking skills with a great tone of voice
- A proactive, get-things-done attitude
- Comfortable working remotely
