Responsibilities
. Work with written inspection procedures, drawings and in-process documents to perform dimensional and visual inspection on parts.
. Use a variety of fixed and variable measuring instruments including height gages, comparators, micrometers, profilometers, pin gages, thread gages, etc. to check dimensions and record results.
. Determine extent of non-conformance and complete appropriate Non-conformance paperwork.
. Follow established procedures to perform in-line checks and verification of dimensions as well as final inspection of product.
. Support initiatives as directed to reduce MRB and re-work requirements.
. Support Continuous Improvement initiatives.
. May be required to train for or obtain certifications for specific customer requirements.
Requirements
. Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience with inspection of critical parts.
. General knowledge of GD&T and basic tolerancing
. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
. Must be able to follow directions and execute tasks successfully within an assigned time frame.
. Must be Team oriented, self-motivated and able to multi-task.
. Demonstrate interpersonal communication skills to interact professionally with other team members.
. Must be able to work on your feet for most of the day.
. High School diploma required
. College education a plus
