Job Summary: Responsible for assisting the claims department with various duties utilizing multiple platforms. Support claim advocates in day to day activities as assigned.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Monitor, distribute and handle e-mail received by claims@cobbsallen.com;
- Distribution of regular mail via scanning to recipient
- Attach documents in claim files
- Communication with internal staff regarding to obtain information needed for reporting of claims
- Communication with clients regarding additional information needed for claim reporting
- Data entry of new claims
- Responsible for OutFront Prevention billing
- Other general duties as assigned by a claim advocate
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Accurate data entry skills
- Ability to utilize a personal computer with Excel, Word, and other media required to perform position responsibilities
- Ability to meet workflow standards and quality management standards
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and consistently meet deadlines
- Ability to be physically present to complete duties & responsibilities during office hours
